Do you think the world will end soon?

I think something bad is headed to mankinds way..an soon
Do you think the world will end soon?
i hope not
Do you think the world will end soon?
No
Reply:lol no I dont think the world is going to end. And if it is would you really want to know? I wouldnt.
Reply:Well you%26#039;re correct because first, theres global warming.

If the icecaps keep melting then the world will get flooded...

Also, the temperature keeps on increasing and more tornadoes and storms are occuring more and more often.

Pretty soon we%26#039;ll have an effect somewhat like the movie The Day After Tomorrow... not that dramatically but its true.

Honestly i%26#039;m kinda scared.
Reply:The world will not end soon...

There is no way a majoc catastrophe can cause human destruction...

Scientifically, the world will end then the sun explodes.. There are still what...? I think about 5 more billion years for that to happen? Yea... If you think that 5 billion years is soon...then, yes...

Religiously.. the world will end when Jesus comes and saves us all... That will not happen soon because, Jesus will come when every single person on this earth that can comprehend writing and spech, has had the oportunity to know the gosphel. I doubt that everyone will have heard of the REAL branch of religion anytime soon...

So, for BOTH those concepts (Science + Religion) the answer is NO.

Oh...and by the way... Global Warming is a fiction concept... Global Warming is not a REAL threat to the world...

It WOULD be dangerous if humans had NO way of turning it around... Since there IS a way we could stop Global Warming, it is not a MAJOR threat.
Reply:I believe that the world wont end, but that us humans will die out. Once all the oil is gone from the Earth, we will all have trouble obtaining food. The grocery stores will lose stock, nothing will get where it needs to be. We will die, but the Earth will continue to have life. (like the dinosaurs)
Reply:I shouldn%26#039;t think so. We should all do our bit to save the planet though - it%26#039;s the only one with chocolate after all!
Reply:%26quot;Asteroids with the power to annihilate us will come this way. Can NASA divert them before it%26#039;s too late?
Reply:Not really.

People have made guesses(and sometimes thought they were positive) that we were gonna die like 10 other times or something. The most popular was probably the 2,000 one.
Reply:That must be a horrible feeling -- literally scaring yourself to death.

I always found that looking at contradictory information is helpful to keep the world in perspective.
Reply:wow, so original, only every single generation thinks the exact same thing.

The earth has been here for 4.5 billion years, but everyone thinks their 70 yr lifespan will see it end.

What it really boils down to, is that you can%26#039;t imagine the world without your consciousness in it, that idea just makes no sense to you.
Reply:Yes, of course, the world will end yesterday......smile.
Reply:No.
Reply:It%26#039;s interesting that you ask this question, as I have seen this same question posted six or seven times in the past week. The world will only last as long as one lives. And then it is no more! Humans spend their lives worrying for what might never be, hoarded goods and guarding their riches, and trying to impress others. But life is. It happens, and as much as human beings use internal defense mechanisms to thwart their inner doubts and anxieties, nothing really changes.

I truly believe that the book of Ecclesiastes is one of the wisest books ever known to mankind.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Peace
